Today Christmas is being celebrated with gaiety all over the world, prayer meetings are being held with Corona protocol

New Delhi | Amidst the Corona restrictions in the country and the world, the festival of Christmas (Christmas 2021) is being celebrated today. Many politicians including the country’s President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the countrymen on Christmas. Keeping in mind the Corona protocol, prayer meetings were held in churches across the country.

Congratulating Christmas by tweeting, PM Modi said- Happy Christmas to all! We remember the life and great teachings of Jesus Christ that emphasized service, kindness and humility the most.

Christmas is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Jesus
The festival of Christmas is celebrated around the world as the birthday of Lord Jesus. Christmas celebrations are more seen in European countries. Here people take out processions, the tableaux of Lord Jesus are decorated. There is a belief in the Christian community that the Lord Jesus i.e. Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph. On Christmas (Christmas 2021), people decorate Christmas trees in their homes and offices, as well as share happiness by giving gifts to each other. Santa Claus has an important role in this.
