The spirit, enthusiasm and passion to play for the country is not being seen in this team and in the players. Looking at this team, it seems that their bodies are tired or they are just going with the pace. Such condition of the players and the team is a matter of grave concern.

 

The former cricketer has targeted senior players of the Indian team like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan on this matter. He said that for a long time, there has been a lot less number of players scoring centuries with the bat. Although Virat Kohli’s form has returned in T20 matches, Virat Kohli has still not been able to perform any explosive performance or miracle in one-day matches, in which he is most known for playing. On the other hand, about Shikhar Dhawan, he said that his strike rate has also reduced considerably. From the year 2020 till now, only Rohit Sharma has scored a century in one-day matches in January 2020. Since then the bats of all the three senior players have gone silent.
