what will be the bowling attack

As far as India’s bowling attack is concerned, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur are almost certain to play the final. But the situation regarding Ravichandran Ashwin is not clear to him. The big question before Team India is whether they will need an additional spinner in the form of Ashwin or a fourth fast bowler in the form of Umesh Yadav. The churning on this is going on continuously. India had fielded both Ashwin (25 wickets) and Jadeja (22) in the recent Border Gavaskar Trophy series and their stellar performances helped India win the series 2-1.

circumstances will decide

Conditions will decide a lot in the final decision with Ashwin providing extra cushion to that order with the bat as well. Many may argue about Thakur’s place in the XI, but the last time India played at the venue, he scored two half-centuries. Ahead of Australia’s practice session, assistant coach Daniel Vettori said the team management has talked a lot about India’s potential bowling attack. He said that we are talking about it. I think Jadeja will play because he is also a useful batsman.
