In this match, not only the two teams but also the battle between two special players is going to be seen. In the match, RCB’s Faf Duplesey will see a direct clash with Rajasthan Royals’ young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Actually both the batsmen are important contenders for the Orange Cap. The Orange Cap is currently held by veteran batsman Faf Duplesey, who has scored 576 runs in 11 matches, including six half-centuries. His highest score is 84 runs. Victory is necessary for RCB
RCB will leave no stone unturned to avoid hat-trick of defeats in this match. He had to face defeat at the hands of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in the last two matches. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, registered a massive nine-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday after three consecutive defeats, which would surely have boosted their morale.

In this match, Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 98 off 47 balls while captain Sanju Samson contributed 48 runs. Jos Buttler could not walk in the match against KKR but along with Jaiswal, he is the biggest threat to any opposition team. Rajasthan’s middle order is also strong which includes batsmen like Joe Root, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer. The bowling attack of Rajasthan Royals is also strong. Veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets for 25 runs in the last match while pacer Trent Boult also did well. He is also getting good support from Sandeep Sharma in the initial overs. Apart from this, there are bowlers like Ravichandran Ashwin in the team who have the ability to turn the match on their own.

RCB will have to win this match at any cost to stay in the race for the playoffs. The situation of Rajasthan Royals is also similar. RCB have 10 points from 11 matches while Royals have 12 points from 12 matches. The batsmen have done well for RCB so far. Du Plessis and Virat Kohli have been consistent in their performances at the top of the order while Glenn Maxwell has also been in fine form. The team, however, needs support from middle-order batsmen Mahipal Lomror, Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik. Mohammed Siraj is the spearhead of RCB’s bowling department.
