Resident doctors’ strike ends, decision taken after meeting minister
New Delhi | Resident Doctors Strike: In view of the rapidly increasing threat of corona infection in the country, Resident Doctors have called off their strike. Giving information in this regard, the President of Delhi Doctors Association, Dr. Manish said that he got assurance after meeting the Minister and after that the decision was taken to call off the strike.
Decision taken after meeting with Minister
The Federation of Resident Doctors Association of India (FORDA) is leading this strike of doctors in Delhi. Association President Dr. Manish said that the doctors’ demonstration started on November 27 regarding the delay in NEET PG Counseling 2021. We had a meeting with the Joint CP yesterday on Thursday. Earlier, I met the minister, in which he has assured that we will try our best for the counseling date of NEET on 6th. In such a situation, we have taken this decision to end the protest.
There was a clash of doctors with the police
Significantly, the resident doctors were on strike for several days over the delay in NEET counseling and during this there was a clash between Delhi Police and doctors on Monday for their march to the Supreme Court. In which many were injured.
