A Bharatiya Janata Party source has told that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will not contest from Mathura. Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Mathura Hema Malini also expressed her desire a few days ago that CM Yogi should contest from here so that our morale increases.
There was no discussion in the name of CM Yogi
CM Yogi Hema Malini: According to information received from the sources, discussion was going on regarding ticket distribution for the first phase of polling in UP. Let us tell you that in the first phase, voting is to be held in Mathura but CM Yogi Adityanath was not discussed in this meeting. It is clear from this that CM Yogi is not going to contest the assembly elections from Mathura. However, official confirmation will still be awaited from the party in this regard. But according to the information that has been received so far, it does not appear to be possible. Yogi Adityanath himself had said that he will contest elections from wherever the party wants.

Rajya Sabha members wrote a letter to JP Nadda
CM Yogi Hema Malini: Apart from Mathura MP Hema Malini, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Harnath Singh Yadav also wrote a letter to party president JP Nadda.
